“ Overall: Amazing food, amazing service- would 100% come back again. We came on a Friday evening around 630pm and were seated right away with no wait. In fact, there were still plenty of seating available, which I was surprised about. Ordered the small beef rib plate with the fried rice as an add on, as well as the gamjatang, which was our initial reason for coming. Everything came out quickly, and we were wow'd by all 3 dishes. We left saying this was some of the best Korean food we've had in the area. Bonus: Very kid- and family-friendly. All of the servers and staff were so kind to my baby girl, who was learning to walk and was exploring the whole restaurant. They gave her some apples to munch on and played with her the entire time we were dining in. Sometimes as parents with young kids you get worried about being a nuisance, and they didn't make us feel like that at all and welcomed the distraction with my baby. ”

“ Almost never try new restaurants in fort lee but soooo glad i did. This place was fantastic - very delicious and hot siraegi soup with generous and chewy sujebi pieces - it was soooo nutty and with a deep perilla seed flavor. Fav dish ive had in nj in a while. The banchan are stellar and very clean. And the very kind lady gave us jeon as service. I can't wait to come back! ”

“ Someone recommended to us and two of us dined in on sunday evening Place was packed, we waited in line little bit Atmosphere was very homey and bowls reminded me of home cooked meals We ordered galbi jjim and cold noodle combo and kimchi galbi jjim The pot and the fire warmer ? Were pretty unique Quantity was not alot but quality was! Gave us one rice which was multigrain rice I loved it Side dishes were good and they gave us complimentary pajeon Everything was good Parking lot was paid one We luckily parked on street which was free on Sunday and holiday ”

“ Solid place for short galbi jjim (braised beef short ribs) - Came here for dinner on a weekend (walk in) and there were no seats indoors so we took an outdoor seat outside. Service was friendly and the lady took care of us through the meal - making sure we had everything and checking in now and then. Food was solid - Their galbi jjim (large) is in my opinion one of the best in the area. A bit on the pricey end given the portion but given how good it is, I was ok with it. I also got their naengmyun and it too was one of the better ones I had lately. Vibe was cute for outdoor seating. It's kind of like a patio setup that's semi enclosed but was fighting off a few hungry birds who were eye balling our food. Guess that's a good sign that the food smells good to them too All in all a good place with good food - Can get busy at times so may need to wait depending on day/time. ”

“ Went on a Sunday night at 8pm, The restaurant was almost full but we were lucky to be seated immediately. The restaurant is not that big but gives a homy vibe. The staff were friendly and attentive. They came refilled our banchan multiple times. Took 10-15min for the food to come but we are very happy about the food! We ordered Braised Beef Short Ribs (9/10), within Wheat Flour Noodle (8/10) and Rice & Veg (8/10) as add on. Also ordered Spicy Braised Beltfish with Radish and Potato (8.5). Both dished were super tummy! The Braised Beef Short Rib is $59 for small potion (more than enough for 2), and $69 for big potion. It's on the sweeter side but not overbearing as I thought it would be (I'm not a sweet tooth). The beltfish turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The dish is flavorful but not fishy. The radish and tomato were tender and soaked all the flour of the dish. It was a bit of spicy for me but I could no stop eating. We were very impressed by the food and had a wonderful time at PyeongAnDong. I will definitely visit again and will try the pork bone soup and braised eel next time. ”

“ Dont know why this place has not gotten much raving reviews yet? Most of the poor reviews do seem like it is about portion sizes and not having enough meat, which may be true. But they don't disappoint in terms of food, quality, everything, including the side dishes are so delicious, but I recommend coming here at weird times and avoiding lunch or dinner crowds, because when they are busy, they do tend to disregard service. Food: 9/10 Atmosphere. 7/10 Service 6/10 better service when not busy Tips: avoid lunch/dinner crowds! ”
